Harmony Becker

Harmony Becker is an American cartoonist, illustrator, and graphic novelist. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she is best known for writing and illustrating the award-winning graphic novel Himawari House (2021) and for illustrating George Takei's graphic memoir They Called Us Enemy. Her work often explores themes of identity, language, and cultural belonging; she has cited Studio Ghibli as a major influence and has worked as both writer-illustrator and as an illustrator for other authors. Becker has lived and worked in Mexico City.
