Jean-François Chabas (born 17 June 1967) is a French writer primarily known for his extensive work in children's and young adult literature. A prolific author and grand voyageur, he has published dozens of books—many drawing on ethnological research and settings from regions such as Australia, Hawaii and New Zealand—and has received multiple youth literature prizes in France and abroad.
