Hervé Jubert

Hervé Jubert (born 1970 in Reims, France) is a French novelist who writes for both young adult and adult audiences. He trained in modern literature and art history (École du Louvre, Paris IV/Sorbonne) before leaving academic and institutional work to write full-time. Jubert is known for blending genres — notably steampunk, fantasy and historical adventure — and for series such as the Morgenstern trilogy and the Blanche books. His work has been translated into multiple languages and he has received several French literary prizes for genre and young-adult fiction.
