Pierre Lemaitre

Pierre Lemaitre (born 19 April 1951) is a French novelist and screenwriter best known for his crime fiction featuring Commandant Camille Verhœven and for his historical novel Au revoir là-haut (The Great Swindle), which won the Prix Goncourt in 2013. A former teacher, his work has been translated into many languages and has received multiple awards including the CWA International Dagger.
