Jennifer Donnelly (born August 16, 1963) is an American novelist best known for historical and young-adult fiction. Her notable works include A Northern Light (also published in the U.K. as A Gathering Light), the Tea Rose trilogy, Revolution, and several media tie-in and YA novels. She has won the Carnegie Medal and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Young Adult Literature and received a Michael L. Printz Honor. Donnelly lives and writes in upstate New York.
