Bruce A. Lourie
Bruce A. Lourie is a Canadian environmental leader, policy expert and author known for his work on toxic pollution, mercury and climate policy. He is president of the Ivey Foundation, a founding contributor to numerous Canadian sustainability organizations, and co-author of the international best-seller Slow Death by Rubber Duck and the follow-up Toxin Toxout. Lourie has played a leading role in campaigns such as the phase-out of coal-fired power in Ontario and the creation of the Ontario Greenbelt, and has served on multiple advisory boards and academic institutions.
