Dana Claire Simpson (born April 23, 1977) is an American cartoonist, writer, and illustrator best known for the comic strip and book series Phoebe and Her Unicorn (originally Heavenly Nostrils) and the webcomic Ozy and Millie. Simpson has published numerous collected volumes and graphic novels, has been syndicated in many newspapers, and has received industry recognition including Reuben and Eisner nominations. She is an out trans woman and has also produced work and advocacy related to transgender youth.
