Dav Pilkey
Dav Pilkey is an American comic book writer, author, and illustrator of children's fiction, best known for the Captain Underpants and Dog Man series. He was born with ADHD and dyslexia, and his experiences in school, often being sent to the hallway for disruptive behavior, led him to create his characters. His first book, 'World War Won,' won a national competition in 1987. Pilkey's work is characterized by humor, vibrant illustrations, and themes that celebrate good-heartedness and creativity.
