David Ellis

David Ellis is an American judge and Edgar Award–winning author of crime fiction. He has published multiple standalone novels and series work (including the Jason Kolarich books) and has coauthored several bestselling thrillers with James Patterson. In December 2014 he was sworn in as a Justice of the Illinois Appellate Court (First District). He lives outside Chicago with his family.
