Louise L. Hay

Louise L. Hay (born Helen Vera Lunney) was an American motivational author, speaker, and publisher best known for her work in self-help and New Thought. She founded Hay House publishing and wrote the bestselling You Can Heal Your Life (1984), promoting the power of positive thought and affirmations. Hay was also a philanthropist and AIDS advocate, hosting support groups in the 1980s and establishing the Hay Foundation.
