Brenda Streater Jackson

Brenda Streater Jackson (born February 2, 1953) is an American bestselling novelist known for multicultural contemporary romance. She is the author of more than 125 novels, including the Madaris Family and Westmorelands series, and was the first African-American author published in the Harlequin/Silhouette Desire line. Jackson has received numerous awards and honors and established several scholarships and community awards in support of education and the literary community.
