Malcolm Gladwell (born September 3, 1963) is a Canadian journalist, author, and public speaker. A staff writer for The New Yorker since 1996, he is best known for popular nonfiction books that explore social science research and its real-world implications, including The Tipping Point, Blink, Outliers, David and Goliath, and The Bomber Mafia. He is also the host of the podcast Revisionist History and a cofounder of Pushkin Industries.
