Jean-Yves Leloup
Jean-Yves Leloup (born 1950 in Angers, France) is a French theologian, writer, translator and spiritual teacher. He has authored numerous books on Christian spirituality, translated and commented on apocryphal texts from the Nag Hammadi library (including the Gospels of Thomas, Philip and Mary), and worked on mystical and monastic traditions of the Orthodox Church. Trained at Mount Athos and initially a Dominican priest, Leloup later joined the French Orthodox tradition and has led retreats and taught on meditation, psychology and spiritual practice.
