Karleen Bradford

Karleen Bradford (born December 16, 1936) is a Canadian author of more than twenty books for children and young adults. Raised partly in Argentina, she lived around the world as the wife of a Foreign Service officer before settling in Ontario. Bradford writes historical fiction, fantasy and nonfiction for younger readers; her novel There Will Be Wolves won the Canadian Library Association Young Adult Book Award and several of her books have been shortlisted for provincial and national children's literature prizes.
