Sandra Boynton
Sandra Keith Boynton (born April 3, 1953) is an American humorist, songwriter, director, music producer, children's author, and illustrator. Since the 1970s she has written and illustrated dozens of bestselling board and picture books for young children (including Hippos Go Berserk!, Moo, Baa, La La La!, Barnyard Dance! and The Going to Bed Book), produced albums of children's music, and designed greeting cards and a wide range of licensed products. Her work is known for its warm humor, simple art style, and musical partnerships.
