Suzy Favor Hamilton

Suzy Favor Hamilton (born August 8, 1968) is an American former middle-distance runner and author. A three-time U.S. Olympian and multiple NCAA champion for the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Favor Hamilton later wrote about her struggles with bipolar disorder and recovery. Her books include a training guide (Fast Track) and a candid memoir, Fast Girl: A Life Spent Running from Madness (2016). She has been a public advocate for mental-health awareness.
