Scott Turow

Scott Frederick Turow (born April 12, 1949) is an American author and lawyer best known for his bestselling legal thrillers set in the fictional Kindle County. He practiced law in Chicago before becoming a full-time writer; his debut novel Presumed Innocent (1987) established him as a leading writer of courtroom fiction. Turow has also written nonfiction about his legal training and career, and his books have been translated into multiple languages and adapted for film and television.
