Jessica Dore is a licensed social worker, tarot reader, writer, and teacher. She is the author of Tarot for Change: Using the Cards for Self-Care, Acceptance, and Growth (Penguin Life) and co-creator of The Change Tarot (Hay House) with artist Xaviera López. Dore has worked in psychology and behavioral science publishing since 2010, holds a master's degree in social work, and previously worked at New Harbinger Publications and as book reviews editor at Psych Central. Her writing has appeared in O, The Oprah Magazine; VICE; Psych Central; and her approach to tarot has been featured in The New York Times, The Cut, Vogue, Yoga Journal, and other outlets. She lives and works in coastal Maine.
