Brent Butt (born August 3, 1966) is a Canadian comedian, actor, writer and novelist best known as the creator and star of the sitcom Corner Gas. Originally from Tisdale, Saskatchewan, he built a long career in stand-up comedy and television writing/production before publishing his debut novel, Huge, in 2023—a psychological thriller set among touring comedians.
