Stuart McLean
Andrew Stuart McLean (April 19, 1948 – February 15, 2017) was a Canadian radio broadcaster, humorist, storyteller and author best known as the creator and host of CBC Radio's long-running show The Vinyl Cafe. He published several bestselling collections of short stories and essays celebrating ordinary people with warmth, wit and gentle humour, and was a recipient of multiple awards including the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour and appointment as an Officer of the Order of Canada. McLean's archives are held at McMaster University.
