Bertrice Small

Bertrice Small (born Bertrice Williams) was an American novelist best known for her historical and erotic romance novels. From 1978 she published more than fifty novels, including the popular Skye O'Malley series, The O'Malley Saga, The Kadin, and Rosamund. Her work helped popularize more explicit, adventure-oriented historical romances and she was a New York Times bestselling author. She lived on Long Island with her husband and was active in writers' organizations before her death in 2015.
