Jeanette Lynes

Jeanette Lynes is a Canadian novelist, poet, essayist and editor. Born and raised in rural southern Ontario (Saugeen River country), she has published multiple novels and several collections of poetry. Her fiction often draws on historical settings and women's lives; notable works include The Factory Voice, The Apothecary's Garden and The Paper Birds. She has taught university writing for decades and (since 2011) has directed the MFA in Writing at the University of Saskatchewan.
