Marina Endicott

Marina Endicott is a Canadian novelist and short story writer born in Golden, British Columbia, in 1958. Before establishing herself as a novelist, she worked in theatre as an actor, director, and dramaturge. Her fiction often explores the complexities of human relationships and domestic life, frequently set against Canadian backdrops. She has received significant critical acclaim, including winning the Commonwealth Writers' Prize for Best Book (Canada and the Caribbean) for 'Good to a Fault' and the Robert Kroetsch City of Edmonton Book Prize for 'The Difference'. She is also an educator, having taught creative writing at institutions such as the Banff Centre for the Arts and the University of Alberta.
