Charlotte Booth is a British Egyptologist and author. She holds a PhD in Egyptology from the University of Birmingham and a BA (Hons) and MA in Egyptian Archaeology from University College London (UCL). She has worked on projects in Cairo and Luxor and has published extensively for both academic and general audiences, authoring numerous books on ancient Egypt and related history and travel topics. She teaches Egyptology (has taught at Birkbeck, University of London) and lives in Essex, UK.
