Bich Minh Nguyen

Bich Minh Nguyen (also published as Beth Nguyen) is a Vietnamese American writer and professor. She is the author of the memoir Stealing Buddha's Dinner and the novels Short Girls (which won an American Book Award) and Pioneer Girl. Her work explores immigrant family life, identity, literature, and cultural memory. Nguyen has taught creative writing and literature at institutions including Purdue University and the University of San Francisco.
