Jan Karon
Jan Karon is an American novelist best known for her Mitford series, which features the fictional Episcopal priest Father Timothy Kavanagh and the small town of Mitford, North Carolina. Born in 1937, she had a successful four-decade career in advertising before pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a writer. Her work is characterized by its focus on faith, community, and wholesome, character-driven storytelling.
