Sarah Dunant is a British novelist, journalist, broadcaster, and critic. Born in London, she studied history at Newnham College, Cambridge. Before becoming a full-time author, she worked extensively in radio and television, including presenting for the BBC. She is well-known for her crime fiction, particularly the Hannah Wolfe series, and her critically acclaimed historical novels set during the Italian Renaissance, which blend meticulous historical scholarship with compelling storytelling.
