Alka Joshi

Alka Joshi is an Indian-American author best known for her internationally bestselling Jaipur Trilogy, which includes 'The Henna Artist', 'The Secret Keeper of Jaipur', and 'The Perfumist of Paris'. Born in Jodhpur, India, she immigrated to the United States at the age of nine. Before becoming a full-time author at age 62, she worked in advertising and marketing. Her debut novel, 'The Henna Artist', was a Reese's Book Club pick and a New York Times bestseller.
