Patricia Highsmith

Patricia Highsmith was an American novelist and short story writer, widely acclaimed for her psychological thrillers that explored themes of guilt, identity, and moral ambiguity. Best known for her series featuring the character Tom Ripley and her debut novel 'Strangers on a Train', her work has been adapted into numerous films and television series. She spent much of her later life in Europe, particularly Switzerland.
