David Gilmour

David Gilmour is a Canadian novelist, journalist, and former film critic. He is well-known for his fiction, including the Governor General's Award-winning novel 'A Perfect Night to Go to China', and his memoir 'The Film Club'. He had a long career in broadcasting with the CBC, notably as a film critic for 'The Journal' and host of 'Gilmour on the Arts'. He also served as a professor of literature and creative writing at the University of Toronto.
