Anne Cameron

Anne Cameron (born Barbara Anne Cameron) was a prolific Canadian novelist, poet, screenwriter, and children's book author. Known for her feminist perspective and her work inspired by Northwest Coast First Nations mythology and culture, she was a significant voice in Canadian literature. She often wrote about the lives of working-class people in coastal British Columbia and was a celebrated queer writer.
