Nicole Brossard

Nicole Brossard is a French-Canadian formalist poet and novelist, widely regarded as one of Quebec's most important writers. Her work is known for its exploration of feminist themes and for challenging masculine-oriented language and points of view in French literature. She co-founded the feminist newspaper Les têtes de pioches and has been involved in the feminist movement since the 1970s. Her writing includes sensual, aesthetic, and feminist political content.
