Budge Wilson
Budge Wilson (1927–2021) was a celebrated Canadian author known primarily for her children's and young adult literature. She began her professional writing career in her fifties, publishing her first book in 1984. Over her career, she wrote more than 30 books, which were translated into multiple languages and received numerous awards, including the Order of Canada and the Order of Nova Scotia. Her work often explored the complexities of human relationships and the human spirit.
