Cary Fagan
Cary Fagan is a Canadian writer born in 1957, known for his novels, short stories, and children's books. He grew up in the Toronto suburbs and earned a B.A. in English from the University of Toronto, where he won eight student writing awards. Fagan began his career as a magazine editor and freelance writer, also becoming involved in Toronto's small-press scene. He published his first short story collection, "History Lessons," in 1991, and his first children's book in 1998. His work has been translated into numerous languages. Fagan also teaches writing for children at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies.
