Connie May Fowler
Connie May Fowler is an American novelist, memoirist, screenwriter, essayist, and poet known for her work exploring Southern themes, environmental issues, and the complexities of family life. Her semi-autobiographical novel, 'Before Women Had Wings', was adapted into an Emmy-winning film. She has served as a professor and mentor in various creative writing programs, including at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
