Elinor Florence

Elinor Florence is a Canadian author who grew up on a Saskatchewan farm. She had a long career in journalism, working for newspapers in all four Western provinces and writing for Reader's Digest Canada, before turning to fiction. She is a member of the Métis Nation of British Columbia and lives in Invermere, British Columbia. Her novels, including 'Bird's Eye View', 'Wildwood', and 'Finding Flora', are known for their historical settings and focus on strong female characters.
