Janie Chang

Janie Chang is a bestselling Canadian author of historical fiction. Her novels often draw from her family history and ancestral stories, frequently incorporating elements of fantasy, ghosts, and folklore. Born in Taiwan, she has lived in the Philippines, Iran, Thailand, and New Zealand before settling in Canada. She holds a degree in computer science and is a graduate of the Writer's Studio Program at Simon Fraser University.
