Chris Cander is a USA Today bestselling author known for her novels including 'A Gracious Neighbor', 'The Weight of a Piano', 'Whisper Hollow', and '11 Stories', as well as the children's picture book 'The Word Burglar'. Her fiction has been published in twelve languages. A former firefighter, fitness competitor, and model, she holds a 4th dan in taekwondo and is a certified women's defensive tactics instructor. She lives in Houston, Texas.
