Amy Ewing is a New York Times and international bestselling author of young adult novels and adult contemporary romance. She is also a freelance editor. Ewing grew up in a small town outside Boston, where her librarian mother instilled a deep love of reading at a young age. She moved to New York City in 2000 to study theater at New York University. After her acting career did not pan out, she worked various jobs before pursuing writing. Ewing received her MFA in Creative Writing for Children from The New School. She lives in New York City.
