Ellen Crosby
Ellen Crosby is an American author known for her mystery novels, particularly the "Wine Country Mysteries" series and the "Sophie Medina" series. Before becoming a full-time writer, she had a career as a freelance journalist, working for publications like The Washington Post and as a Moscow correspondent for ABC Radio News. She also worked as an economist for the U.S. Senate. Crosby was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up in Connecticut. She holds a master's degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in political science from The Catholic University of America. She is fluent in French and Spanish and has a working knowledge of Russian. Crosby lives in northern Virginia with her family.
