Lidia Matticchio Bastianich

Lidia Giuliana Matticchio Bastianich is an Italian-American celebrity chef, television host, author, and restaurateur specializing in Italian and Italian-American cuisine. She has been a regular contributor to public television cooking shows since 1998. Born in Pula, Italy, her family emigrated to the United States when she was nine years old during the Istrian–Dalmatian exodus. She has authored several cookbooks, hosted numerous television series, and co-owns several Italian restaurants in the U.S. She is also a partner in Eataly locations worldwide.
