Lucia Capacchione

Lucia Capacchione was an Italian-American psychologist, art therapist, artist, graphic designer, and author, known for her pioneering work in expressive arts therapies and journal therapy. She developed the 'writing and drawing with the non-dominant hand' method, which she detailed in books like 'The Power of Your Other Hand' and 'Recovery of Your Inner Child'. Capacchione also served as director of a Head Start program and consulted for Walt Disney Imagineering. Her work has been translated into numerous languages and is used internationally in various therapeutic, educational, and wellness settings.
