Robert Beatty

Robert Beatty is an American technology entrepreneur and author of historical fiction and fantasy novels, primarily for middle-grade readers. He is best known for his Serafina and Willa series, published by Disney-Hyperion. Before his writing career, Beatty was a pioneer in cloud computing and founded Plex Systems. His novels have sold over one million copies and have been translated into more than twenty languages. He lives in Asheville, North Carolina.
