Marian Keyes

Marian Keyes (born 10 September 1963) is an Irish novelist best known for popular contemporary fiction that blends humour with serious themes such as addiction, depression, domestic violence and family life. Her debut novels in the mid-1990s established her as a leading voice in contemporary women's fiction; she has sold millions of copies worldwide and her books have been translated into numerous languages. Keyes lives in Dún Laoghaire, Ireland, and has also written non-fiction and journalism and presented radio programmes.
