Aron Ralston

Aron Ralston is an American mountaineer, mechanical engineer, and motivational speaker, best known for surviving a canyoneering accident in 2003 where he amputated his own right arm to free himself from a boulder. His experience was documented in his autobiography 'Between a Rock and a Hard Place' and adapted into the film '127 Hours'. After his recovery, he continued mountaineering and became the first person to ascend all of Colorado's fourteeners solo in winter.
