Natascha Kampusch

Natascha Maria Kampusch (born 17 February 1988) is an Austrian author and public figure who survived an abduction in 1998 and escaped in 2006 after more than eight years in captivity. She published her account of the ordeal in the memoir "3,096 Days" (often cited as 3096 Days) and has since been involved in public speaking and media projects related to her experience.
