Carolyn Jessop

Carolyn Jessop is an American author and former member of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS). She is known for her autobiographical book "Escape," which details her upbringing in a polygamous sect and her subsequent flight from the community with her eight children. Jessop's story has been recognized for its courage and has been optioned for a feature film. She has also written a sequel, "Triumph: Life After the Cult, a Survivor's Lessons."
