Alexandra Penfold

Alexandra Penfold is a literary agent and the author of numerous children's books, including the New York Times bestseller "All Are Welcome." She began her career in publishing as a children's book publicist at Simon & Schuster, later transitioning to an editor at Paula Wiseman Books/Simon & Schuster. She is also the co-author of "New York a la Cart: Recipes and Stories from the Big Apple's Best Food Trucks." Penfold graduated from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a concentration in Entertainment Business and Marketing. She currently works as a literary agent at Upstart Crow Literary, representing children's book authors and illustrators, as well as select adult projects. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and three children.
