Ruth Hogan is a British novelist known for warm, slightly whimsical fiction often featuring eccentric characters, found objects and hints of the supernatural. Her debut, The Keeper of Lost Things, was a Sunday Times bestseller and launched a series of well-received novels including The Wisdom of Sally Red Shoes, Queenie Malone's Paradise Hotel and Madame Burova. She began writing seriously after a car accident and a later cancer diagnosis; she lives in Bedfordshire in a Victorian house with rescue dogs.
