Rachel Joyce
Rachel Joyce (born 1962) is a British novelist and former actress, best known for The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. She began her writing career producing radio drama for BBC Radio 4 (winning the Tinniswood Award jointly in 2007) before publishing her debut novel in 2012, which brought international bestseller status. Her work includes novels, short stories and stage/radio adaptations; she lives in Gloucestershire with her family.
